Though I have received plenty of encouragement and positive feedback from its members, and I would like to take a moment to sincerely thank you all for your kinds words, likes, and follows to my blog.

I know it’s not much right now, but I am working on making it better. Your positive energy as given me the extra boost that I was missing to really kick it in gear. I can never thank ya’ll enough for providing me with that!

Much love and I look forward to hopefully working with some of you beautifully talented folks in the future.

Muse Meet Muse

Remember that project I had mentioned a few weeks ago?

This is it!

I want to try my hand at interviewing local artists, musicians, and performers (also known as Muses on my channel), so I decided to start a Playlist on my YouTube channel.

It’s called Muse Meet Muse and I will feature a ‘Muse’ (or two) each month.

If you are interested in being on my channel for some free exposure and to share your story with me, then hit me up and let’s interview!

I am still new to performing. Yes, I am a music major that does not know how to perform.

Have I lost ya’ll yet?

Okay, let me explain – I understand performance in the academic sense.

Though that is ALL I have ever done and it’s time to change that. My goal is to attend any and every Open Mic that I can to finally find my own personal stage style. In my opinion, within the realm of school juries and recitals, once you’ve got your technical part down you are good to go. If you are able to emote – even better!

That is why it is important to me to find my personal stage presence.

Singing someone else’s work is all that I have ever done and it is now time for me to really own my own work.

One step at a time.
