Soprano Musings is officially Soprano Musings Abroad!
This decision was in the making for a year now, and with my TaLK contract ending in July, I have made the choice to keep traveling permenantly.
Now I am in the process of clearing out 2 years worth of things from the apartment that I have been fortunate to live in while teaching in Korea. It really amazes me how much you can collect over a period of time, because I came here with 1 large and 1 medium suitcase (as well as my carry-on and messenger bag) and now have at least twice that much stuff! So with this extra free time that Rona has given me (since my school has not opened yet for teaching students), I have started parting with things and organizing other things to ship back to the States.
Though the one thing I must complete (in my opinion) is decide on where I will be travelling to next!
The gag is that I have way more choices than I once thought, so choosing has been hard af Musings! Even after weeks of researching spots and following the news of how each country I’m interested in is handling covid-19, I still am not 100 percent settled on a place to go.
One place that I refuse to even consider is China. With the news of xenophobia running wild there, I would be better off going back to the States. So….
To help me make up my mind, I have begun to schedule content on my IG. Also, I want to connect with other travelers too, so I thought it would be a great place to start. And of course I will begin upload videos on YouTube too about my journey! That was the whole point of me starting the channel in the first place.
Now, let me get back to cleaning and sorting things out within this aparment! Afterwards you can bet I’ll be doing this:
So until next time Musings!
Be inspired, stay inspiring, and travel light.
