BABEFEST 2016!

I have been a bit absent from posting these past few weeks. Mostly due to the semester ending – don’t know why this one was so hard, but it was.

But one other really good reason that I have been away is due to this AWESOME event that I am happy to be apart of 🙂

It is called Babefest, where the local female musicians and their bands take the stage to perform. Love Your Rebellion teamed up with Nice Guys Pizza to host this event, and I can not wait for it to finally be here!

To prepare and spread the word about Babesfest and what it means to us, us ladies at LYR had a photo shoot where we tried to capture the essence of the women in music that have and continue to inspire us.

I chose Brittany Howard from the Alabama Shakes 🙂

You can read about why I chose her here, and if you are local I hope you can make it out to this event!
