Day 1: Ready, Set 3 Goals, and Go!

As I mentioned in my previous post, I am taking part in the Blogger 201 event. For 2 weeks all bloggers participating will receive daily challenges that we are to post about on our blogs. I for one am very excited about this because I am still pretty new to blogging and need a little help.

The first task is to write out three concrete goals that I have for my blog, so here they are!
Content: Now that I know I am all in for blogging and sharing my journey and work with everyone, it is time to produce some material. My vlogs on YouTube are getting better and I will post those too! Now it’s time to give ya’ll some engaging, interactive, and fun writing material also. I am coming up with more ideas of topics to cover, music reviews, and polls too.
Presentation: This goes hand in hand with content in my opinion, so of course it is next on my list 🙂 I want to make my personality SPARKLE all over this baby for everyone to see. When folks first meet me, I can be pretty reserved and quiet. Then once I feel comfortable I let loose my charming, creative, funny, and witty(I think its witty) side. In order to do that, not only do I need to step up my WordPress know-how, but my overall social platforms too!
Network HQ: One of the key reasons I started Soprano Musings is to meet other artists and musicians. I want this blog to all but shout, ‘ Artists and Musicians are Welcome!’. To be known as a underground networking headquarters with a local vibe is a not only a goal for me – it is a MUST.

Any feedback or suggests on how I can make these goals happen is always welcomed. Thanks!

Seeing one 'acceptable' troupe for fat black women like me was more than enough to entice me to step up and take a shot! ______________________________________________________________________________________________ After spending hours on stock pile sites and not finding the images of women that she wanted to see on her blog or book covers led K. McCoy to make more of her photography hobby. Besides shooting portraits, street and travel photography, K. McCoy would love to tap more into her creative skills and collaborate with cosplay artists as well as authors looking for their dream book covers.
